""Follow your dreams" is something we always hear from teachers, parents, movies and etc. What does it really mean? Does it mean doing something you love that doesn't guarantee success? Does it mean doing what you love while everybody is telling you that it won't work? Well in fact, yes it does. There's only a small percentage of people in this work that actually followed there dreams. According to a research on Huffington Post, less than 30% of people are actually living their dreams. Ain't that a bitch? It makes sense why you have way more people giving you reasons not to follow your heart and instead tell you to go to college for a degree. They want the safe route because following your dreams is too scary for them. They gave up on theirs dreams so they want to bring you down with them. They say shit like:
1.THAT DOESN'T GUARANTEE JOB
2. YOU DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
3. EVERYBODY IS DOING IT
#3 is the most discouraging. I know a lot of people with potential no being used because of #3. Let me tell you something: EVERYBODY MAYBE DOING IT, BUT NOBODY CAN DO IT LIKE YOU. We all have our own recipe for different shit (clothes, music, photography and etc.). The day I realized that, is the day I realized we all have potential to be great. Find what's special about you and use that quality the best way possible.
